In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and International Society for Laboratory Hematology. Physicians (ACCME) Credit Designation
Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 21.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

The learner notification including the link to claim credit will be shared in the virtual meeting portal after the meeting.

SPEAKER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS

Speakers are required to check-in at the Speaker Ready Room 24 hours prior to their session. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive to be uploaded at that time.

 

Speakers should arrive at their assigned session room at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session to introduce themselves to the session chair(s).

 

SPEAKER READY - ROOM BC

The Speaker Ready Room will be available to all oral presenters to preview and edit presentations, if necessary. The Speaker Ready Room will be located in "Room BC" in the Lower Foyer.

 

The Speaker Ready Room hours are as follows:

Wednesday, May 29: 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Thursday, May 30: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday, May 31: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturday, June 1: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

 

PRESENTATION FORMAT

All PowerPoint presentations should be in 16:9 format. 

 

*A NOTE TO MAC USERS:

Mac users should not use “drag-and-drop” to insert pictures and video files. Most problems, such as the infamous “red x” are the result of this. Using the “INSERT” command from the menu will virtually eliminate these issues. The PowerPoint file must have the .ppt or .pptx suffix to be accepted. As noted above, QuickTime movies (.MOV) must be converted to a PC compatible format before submission.

The poster presentation schedule is listed in the conference program. There are two poster sessions this year, however, posters will be hung for the duration of the conference.
POSTER SESSION 1- THURSDAY, MAY 30TH (5:00 - 6:30 PM)
POSTER SESSION 2 - FRIDAY, MAY 31ST (5:30 - 7:15 PM)

MOUNT - May 30th at 8:30 AM
REMOVE - May 31st at 7:15 PM

All posters will be displayed the entire day of the presentation, but authors should only present their poster during their assigned session. All posters should be mounted and removed at the above times. Posters that are not taken down by the specified time will be discarded. Please bring your mounting supplies.

 - Approved mounting products: Scotch Tape, Blu Tack, Sticky Tack.

 - NOT approved: thumbtacks, pins, staples, screws.

 - Damage to posterboard may be subject to a fine.


POSTER SIZE
Posters should not exceed 140cm high x 90cm wide.
Posters should be printed in portrait layout, not landscape.

All lost and found articles will be held at the conference Registration Desk.

The networking event will take place at Little Atlantique Brewery from 8:00 - 11:00 PM on Friday, May 31st.

A ticket is required to attend the networking event. Please visit the registration desk if you are interested in purchasing a ticket. If you purchased a ticket, a wine glass icon will be on the front of the name badge. Please be sure to bring your name badge to the event.

Buses will depart from the La Cité Nantes Congress Centre (on Rue de Valmy) beginning at 7:30 PM.

An email with additional information will be shared the day of the event. 

Attendees may not take pictures of oral or poster presentations. Only official conference photographers are allowed to take such pictures.

Name badges will be distributed at the Registration Desk. The Registration Desk is located in the Gran Hall and will be open during the following hours:
